This chapter examines the idea that 'drawing forth' might be deployed as a conceptual device, a means of opening architecture to new areas of research. Such an opening might, in turn, lead to the emergence of much-needed ideas about what, in relation to contemporary practice, critical architecture is and what critical architecture can do?
