Abstract

The authors introduce fast systolic arrays for computing the state of discrete-time multivariable controllers. The designs allow the estimate to be made with a variable degree of approximation even when the system matrix is singular. Hence the sampling time of the system can be chosen as parameter dependent on the array latency.
