Abstract
This report forms part of the evaluation of the impact of the Noise at Work Regulations 1989 called for by the HSC. The stage of the evaluation reported in this document involved a survey of industry to establish the costs employers have incurred in complying with the Regulations, whether they have discerned any benefits from them and to make some assessment of the wider costs and benefits to society.
