Abstract

The CTD network is an extensible quadrivalent multiprocessor based on a hypercube topology, which overcomes the dimensional interconnection explosion of classic hypercubes. The paper presents a number of physical lay-out strategies for the CTD, which have the property of reducing the average physical path length between adjacent processing elements.
